RM Cage Installation Instructions
To ensure the best possible fit with the RM Cage, we recommend using a bottle that features a continuous, uniform groove around its circumference. This allows the bottle to sit securely in the 2 hooks at the top of the RM Cage.
Bottles with shorter grooves that do not properly engage with the hook—such as the CamelBak Podium bottle—as well as bottles with grooves that are not consistent around the full circumference, like Polar Insulated bottle, are not recommended.
In our experience, these types of bottles may not remain securely in place on rear carriers due to the lack of a proper groove for the cage to grip.
